The Pulse XS Pro contains the Oxiline™ AX nanosensor that can precisely detect the absorption of light by the blood, leading to an accurate reading of blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate, perfusion index and plethysmograph in waveform.
Yes, the Pulse XS Pro app works on both Apple iOS and Android devices.
The Pulse XS Pro includes 2 AAA batteries that may last over 3 months of continuous daily use.
Tap the power button once to turn on the device, then hold down the power button until the device settings menu appear on the display.
To navigate the menu tap the power button to move down through each option. To adjust a setting hold down the power button. To exit the menu navigate to the “exit” option and hold down the power button.
The menu has the following options:
- Sound Reminder – Select to turn on /off the alarm option. Enter the Remind set up to adjust alarm thresholds.
- Beep – Select to turn on/off the device beep sound which is signals active reading.
- Demo – Select to enter Demo mode which displays a reading of 98 SpO2 on the display. This setting should only be used by professionals.
- Restore – Select to restore to factory settings.
- Brightness – Select to adjust display brightness from 1-5.
Adjust the Pulse XS Pro display brightness by entering the device settings, tapping the power button until you reach “Display Brightness,” and holding down the power button to modify from levels 1-5.
To adjust the Pulse XS Pro alarm enter the device settings then navigate to “Remind Setup” and press and hold the power button.
Once you enter Remind Setup you will be able to adjust thresholds for the following variables.
- Limit Setup – Select this setting to go back to the previous menu.
- SpO2 Hi – Adjusts the Highest SpO2 value to trigger the alarm.
- SpO2 Lo – Adjusts the Lowest SpO2 value to trigger the alarm.
- PR Hi – Adjusts the Highest PR value to trigger the alarm.
- PR Lo – Adjusts the Lowest PR value to trigger the alarm.
- +/- – Adjust the way in which you increase(+) or decrease(-) the values of the alarm triggers.
After powering on the device, tap the power button to rotate the display. There are 4 display orientations/options to choose from.
