Control Solution Kit

The Gluco Control Solution Kit lets you verify that your Gluco XS Pro meter and test strips are working correctly. By testing known glucose levels (Low, Normal, High), you can be confident in the accuracy of your blood-glucose readings before you test your blood.

Test at least once when you first open a new bottle of test strips, anytime you suspect a strip or meter issue (e.g., unexpected readings), and after dropping or damaging your meter. Regular checks—about once a month—help ensure ongoing accuracy.

• Level 1 (Low) checks readings around 60–90 mg/dL.
• Level 2 (Normal) checks around 120–160 mg/dL.
• Level 3 (High) checks around 200–240 mg/dL.
For routine verification, start with Level 2 (Normal). If you need to confirm performance at the extremes, use Levels 1 and 3.

First, repeat the test with a fresh strip and fresh drop of control solution. If the value remains outside the stated range, check the solution’s expiry date, ensure proper storage, and contact Oxiline Support for further assistance.
