I bought this after my old thermometer died during a rough week with colds. The LED alignment light is actually useful since I can see where I’m pointing in a dark room. I tried both wireless and in-ear and ended up using wireless most when my toddler squirms. Baby mode reads quicker and seems consistent with what we got at the clinic. I also used the object setting to check bottle temp which saved me from overheating milk. Battery life has been fine so far and it pairs fast on my phone.

I upgraded from a cheap bathroom scale and this feels much more accurate, especially for visceral fat and muscle mass. The app suggested an ideal body weight and showed my obesity level as improving over 8 weeks, which was motivating without being bossy. My spouse doesn’t love weighing in, but they got curious about body age and now we both check in on Sundays. Only tiny gripe is the foot pads feel cold first thing in the morning, so I keep it on a small mat now. Otherwise it sits flat, syncs quick, and the battery has lasted longer than I expected.

ok so at first i’m like why so many metrics who needs that many, then i used it for 2 weeks and the trends made sense. body fat down tiny bit yay, muscle up a bit in legs, core still meh, but i can see it in the chart. app is clean, report looks nice for my doc appt. one time i stood wrong and the reading was off lol user error, hold the handles right. good product, does what it says and looks fine in my bathroom.
