I’ve owned two other TENS units in the past and this is the first one I actually stick with. The battery is no joke, I charged it once and forgot about it for weeks. I keep a routine at night, 20 minutes on my lower back, sometimes I switch to the shoulders if I did too many pushups. Intensity 7 to start, then up to 10 if I need it. The cable connectors feel sturdy and the pads are stickier than my old set, even after a few uses. Pain relief lasts long enough for me to sleep.

Been using it for two months with my small home gym. The handle electrodes felt odd at first but now it is second nature. I like the way it estimates ideal body weight and shows a realistic obesity level without scaring me. The best part is the history tab that shows a graph for each metric. I learned my weekend salt binge affects water and the scale explains why my weight jumps on Mondays. Batteries are still going strong. I would give it 4.5 if I could because the app font is tiny on my old phone.

My wife and I share this device since it has two profiles, which was the selling point for us. I set mine to user A and she is on B, so no mixing up numbers. The arm cuff is wide and comfortable, though it took me a try or two to get the hang of placing the tube in the right spot. Once we figured that out the readings have been consistent. Battery life has been fine, but we mostly use the cable to keep it on the desk.

Shipping was quick and it came with a little pouch, which I didn’t expect. I’m not super technical, but the modes are labeled clearly and the screen walks you through. I use it after mowing the lawn when my knees ache. The medium pads fit just right around the kneecap area and don’t peel off when I move. Only tiny thing, the first time I stuck a pad I put it upside down and had to readjust, but after that it was smooth sailing. Overall feels solid and works as promised.

As a runner coming back from a hamstring tweak, I was curious about symmetry. The segmental readouts showed my right leg had slightly less muscle than the left, which lined up with how it felt on hills. I focused my strength work and two weeks later the numbers evened out. I also discovered my water intake was low since body water kept dipping in the afternoons. The app trends are easy to read and I like that I can switch between lbs and kg for my coach. I got this after my doctor asked me to track at home, and it has been super straightforward. The cuff slides on without tugging and the display is huge, so I do not squint. I like that it stores a lot of readings, I just scroll back and show the nurse at my visits. We run it by USB C on the kitchen counter next to the kettle. I used to own a wrist one and the numbers bounced around, this one feels stable and less fussy.
