I’ve worn hearing aids before and always got itchy ears. These sit light behind my ear and the smallest tip finally fits me right. The outdoor mode helps on my evening walks because wind used to drown everything out. Bluetooth works fine for podcasts during lunch and I like that I can tweak things on the phone without calling anyone. Only tiny gripe is I wish the case clicked shut louder so I know it’s closed, but it charges great and lasts through a full weekend visit with the grandkids.

I was nervous to change meters because I’ve used the same brand for years. The first week with this one went smoothly. Strip coding is automatic, the beep is quiet, and results pop up quick. I compared a few readings at the clinic and they were within a couple points of their machine. Batteries came in the box and the case is decent. If I could tweak anything it would be the clip on the pouch, feels a bit flimsy, but the device itself works great day to day.

I keep a small kit in my car for errands and another at home, and these fit both my meters for the XS Pro and the X Pro. The lancets click in solid and I barely notice the prick most times. I did fumble the first time because I forgot to change the depth setting, my mistake, but once I fixed it the blood sample was easy to get. Price per strip is decent for the quality. I’m on my second box and no duds yet.
