Got it after my old clip-on kept shutting off mid run, super annoying. This one stays reading even when I’m bouncing on the bike, like it tracks continuously and doesn’t freak out. Display is big so I glance and keep going. The app sometimes takes a second to refresh, not a big deal, I just wait. My sister tried it and now she wants to borrow it for her marathon training, told her get your own.

I had a cheaper unit before that seemed to jump all over. This one settles quickly and the extra indicator for pulse strength helps me know if it’s reading or if my hand is too cold. I keep it by my recliner and check during TV time. The display is bright but not blinding. I emailed support with a silly question about auto shutoff and they replied same day. Happy with it and it looks nicer than the old gray plastic ones.

We hike at altitude a lot and I wanted a quick way to see how the kids were doing. Tossed this in the top pocket of my pack and used it at rest stops. Super easy, even with gloves off briefly. The color readout is super visible in bright sun which surprised me. Numbers were consistent each time. I was nervous to try something new after a cheap amplifier whistled all the time. This device surprised me, no squeal and it sits secure with my glasses on. I use the outdoor mode when I walk the dog because the wind picks up on our hill and it cut that down a lot. TV is clearer too so the volume on the remote went from 28 to 16. I charge it next to my phone at night and it is ready before breakfast.
