During marathon training my weight went up but muscle climbed and subcutaneous fat dipped, which kept me motivated. The grip sensors are easy to hold even after a sweaty run, I just wipe them down. App notifications are gentle and not annoying. A straightforward tool that fits into my routine.

The cuff fits my arm fine, but it’s nice to know there’s an XL option because I lift and sometimes sleeves are tight. I was nervous about how it would look but it sits low and my coworker only noticed when I told him. Setup was basically charge it, put it on, and the app did the rest. I like that it reconnects when I take it out of the case, no messing around. Music Mode is fun for podcasts while I fold laundry, then I swap to Outdoor when I go for a stroll. Battery lasts me two full days with a top up in the case. Only small nit is the touch area is sensitive when I adjust my glasses, but I learned to grab the frame higher.

Put it on for the first time and called my brother, could hear him clear without asking to repeat every line which felt amazing. I keep the volume at 3 and only bump it up at the grocery store. Music mode at church makes the choir less muddy to my ears. I had a tiny bit of whistling the very first hour until I switched to the slightly larger dome then it went away. It feels soft in my ear and I actually forgot to take it off for a nap, no irritation. For a simple device it brought back a lot of little moments.
