I had a bulky arm monitor before and I never used it because it felt like a chore. This one is smaller and I can check in under a minute, even in the car before going into the gym. The readings match pretty close to what I get at the pharmacy kiosk, maybe a point or two off, which seems fine. The app graphs are simple and I shared a screenshot with my nurse. Only tiny thing is the pouch is kind of thin, but the device itself seems solid.

I’m two months into a cut and this device helped me see that my fat was dropping while muscle stayed about the same which kept me motivated. The segment readings told me my right leg is a bit stronger so I started doing extra lunges on the left. App layout is clean with graphs for BMR and body age, I like scrolling back to see week by week. Only hiccup was the first day I stood wrong and got a weird reading but I learned to hold the handles steady and stand barefoot. Since then it’s consistent.

I bought it for my dad who hates complicated gadgets and he actually uses this without calling me. The big color screen makes it obvious what the numbers are and the little memory icon shows he has plenty of space left. He uses four AAA batteries and we’ve only changed them once in two months. I set up two profiles so I can check mine when I visit on Sundays. The automatic sync to the app is great because I can show his nurse the weekly averages with one tap.

Been using this device every morning after coffee, then I realized coffee first was a bad idea and the averages helped me see that. The memory holds a ton of entries for both me and my husband, so we don’t have to write anything down. Bluetooth was fussy during the first pairing, I had to restart the app, but since then it just connects when I open it. The cuff wraps smooth and doesn’t scratch my skin. Overall reliable and straightforward.
