Had another cheap unit years ago and it fizzled out, so I tried this one for my knee after a minor sprain. Setup took me like 3 minutes. I like that I can put one pad above and one below the joint and tweak the intensity left and right. After a week of short sessions my swelling went down along with the soreness. Not a miracle cure but it keeps me moving and I can finish my evening walks again.

I am not great with gadgets, but I had this working right out of the box after a quick read of the tiny guide. I take two readings in the evening and it saves them so I can show my nurse at appointments, which makes those talks way easier. The cuff felt a bit stiff the first few days then softened up, now it sits fine on my bigger arm. I did a side by side with my brother’s older monitor and the numbers were very close, so I trust it. Gave 4 stars only because the beep is a little loud late at night.
